Lasting Change for the Better.

With each new year we are presented with the opportunity to start a new. We can either continue to do things the same that we've always done them, or we can choose to change. Most years like the majority of Americans I make resolutions to change, but sadly I usually fail. I fail to achieve lasting change. I refuse to allow 2012 to be yet another year that I say I'm going to change stuff, and don't. So since this is the first day of the first week of the next year, I've decided to post and document exactly what my plans are regarding change for 2012. Instead of making one big goal I'm committing to 52 small goals a new one each week in hopes of ending out 2012 a happier healthier me! 


This weeks goal water consumption. Each day I will be drinking half of my body weight in ounces of water. So far today has been a success! 


In addition to my weekly goals I intend to lose the weight from this last baby. I'm hoping with my weekly changes the weight will come off without much additional effort. Another of my goals is to stay completely vegan all year. The only time I see that being difficult is when we travel away from home. It is nearly impossible to do this when the only options around are not vegan. So heres the goal for that, making sure I provide myself with healthy vegan options while on the road. Pack fruits, veggies and stuff for salads that way I do have a choice on what I put in my body. 


That's really it, stay tuned for each weeks progress and new goal. Making 2012 about change and change for the better. I can't wait to see what this year hold for me!!
